In a nod to its agricultural heritage, the City of Camarillo (in Ventura County, CA) uses a bougainvillea motif in its logo and public art.  Painted or printed bougainville images were used on earlier entry monuments but the city wanted a more polished look for its newest examples.

The landscape architects contacted ARTO to explore a custom mural and we were proud to make one featuring handpainted 6×6 ceramic tiles stretching nearly 40 feet across the facade.  The city and its residents have great pride in this beautiful new feature and we are looking forward to providing a similar mural for the next entry monument.

ARTO offers traditional murals or can make any image, logo, or design into a custom mural to meet your unique specifications.  The Eagle Rock mural below is a great example – you won’t find this design in your neighbor’s kitchen!

ARTO also make a full range of standard handpainted decos and murals that you can browse on our website or call us to discuss how we can make your dreams come true like Laverne & Shirley.
